Educational Pursuit

My husband was very patient or as patient as he could be during my educational pursuit for my Master's Degree. I learned during this 2 year journey that I was able to actually make it happen. I'm thinking about getting my PHD, which I may end up doing. Whatever I decide, I know that I can do anything that I put time and effort into. There are some things in life that may never happen, yet my eagerness and persistence do pay off for the most part. Dream big....and one of the most important things I have learned....no one can tell you what you can or can not do. Make it happen!

Top Ten Got Me Somewhere

I came from the small town of Cushing, OK. I graduated in 1997 with a list of top ten things to accomplish before I turned the big 3-0....and what an adventure those top ten have given me. I will share that first top ten list...this list was conceived by a 19 year old mind...without being tainted with too many life lessons...a heart full of desire and passion to conquer the world...a girl with a plan to make a difference...to be bigger and better than what others were thinking for her...limiting her. It's interesting how people can stunt our "growth".

I'm so thankful that God didn't let me stop in my "growth" through life. There have been so many lessons. Please check back and I will auto post the top ten list for "My Road to Thirty" each day...yes, one top ten each day. It'll be good for you! It's the way life untangles for us each day. We eventually get to see the untangled mess to see what beautiful picture or jewelry piece has been created!:)
